IT Technician with 3+ years of hands-on experience across macOS, Linux, and Windows in a live multi-site environment: daily Intune, Active Directory, and SCCM for device management and builds. Outside work I design, build, and operate Hanko, a production web platform with its own scheduled data pipeline, monitoring, and billing. Motivated to move into infrastructure and reliability engineering.

Sept 2022 to present
  • Field-based IT support across two academies in a seven-site cluster; hardware, software, and access issues via SysAid; ticket triage and resolution.
  • Provision and deploy macOS, Windows, and iPad devices with Microsoft Intune; rebuilt estate devices out of Jamf into Intune during the organisation's MDM migration.
  • Build and image Windows machines with SCCM; manage users and access through Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
  • Manage device lifecycle end to end: asset tracking, repurposing, supplier coordination, rebuild workflows.
  • Created and maintain the cluster-wide IT knowledge base, now the team's shared reference for IPs, VLANs, configs, and processes.
  • Staff technical inductions during onboarding; used AD bash script for mass password resets.
  • Coordinated incident response during a server room flood at one of my sites: escalated appropriately, opened a single incident channel, isolated power with the senior admin before further equipment damage. Diagnosed both an Apple server and a Hyper-V host within ~ten minutes; afterwards built power diagrams for every server so faults can be traced without manual cable tracing — the trust is now rolling these out across all seven academies.
  • Completed the Level 3 Network & Cloud apprenticeship with Distinction during the role (2023–2025).

Flagship Project

Hanko, anime & manga tracker hanko.live

since 2026 · solo, alongside full-time work
  • Production web platform on Next.js 16 / PostgreSQL (Supabase) / Cloudflare R2, deployed on Vercel with a CDN-cached static shell; 90–100 mobile scores in field Speed Insights across most regions.
  • Built an owned 52k+ title catalog with an 11-job scheduled pipeline (GitHub Actions) over legal public data sources: dedupe, review queues, idempotent publishes; no third-party API dependency at request time.
  • Observability with per-run summaries and failure alerting to a Discord ops channel (<1 minute failure-to-alert; caught a live pipeline crash on its first production run).
  • Every change ships through PRs with typecheck/lint/build/schema-drift CI gates and preview deploys.
  • Operates Stripe billing, cost-capped AI enrichment, row-level security, GDPR/DMCA workflows with admin tooling, and a Google Play (TWA) release currently in closed testing.

  • Live filterable model browser for OpenRouter: compares price, usage tokens, context length, capabilities, and provider reputation across 400+ LLMs.
  • Built with Next.js 16 / TypeScript / Tailwind 4 / shadcn/ui; server-side fetch from OpenRouter public API with ISR caching and localStorage bookmarks.
  • Includes comparison drawer, bulk LiteLLM YAML export, cost calculator, and capability filters (tools, vision, structured output, reasoning) for agent/tooling selection.

RackPlan, homelab planner rack-plan.vercel.app

2026 · solo
  • Capacity planner for homelab builds: rack elevation with real-U placement rules, service-to-host resource fit, VLAN and subnet addressing, and capital plus running-cost modelling.
  • Built with Next.js 16 / React 19 / TypeScript / Tailwind 4; entirely client-side over a localStorage-backed store, statically prerendered with no backend or database.
  • 48-device editable hardware catalogue; per-host docker-compose export, duplicate port-binding detection, address-collision validation, and JSON plan import/export.

Homelab & Personal Infrastructure

  • Proxmox hypervisor managing VMs and LXC containers across dedicated hardware; TerraMaster NAS with NFS/SMB.
  • Docker for containerised self-hosted services including monitoring and LiteLLM + OpenRouter for model routing with per-user token budgets for cost control.
  • UniFi networking: VLAN segmentation, firewall rules, per-device traffic management; Cloudflare Tunnels for secure external access without port forwarding; diagnosed and resolved double-NAT by reconfiguring routing topology.
  • Two years running Linux as my main OS (now macOS); comfortable in the CLI with file management, process inspection, networking, and SSH.
